Octavian Marcu  is the company Marine Manager, overseeing the operations of all company’s Vessels .

He has over 40 years experience in the marine sector, on high seas as well as in offshore oil and gas industry.

His management skills have been gained over more than 20 years of top management positions. His working experience spans over PARMA IMPEX SRL – Marine Superintendent, WILLBROS NIGERIA LTD – Marine Manager, WORKSHIPS AFRICA LTD – Fleet Manager, HERCULES NIGERIA LTD – Vessels’ Manager, TOS/LANFALL TRANSPORT AND OFFSHORE SERVICES – Port Captain and, presently, BENEPROJECTI NIGERIA LTD – Marine Manager.

Over the 40 years of marine activity he’s been certified and qualified as an Offshore and Port Harbor Tug Master in 1986, Master Mariner (unlimited) in 1985, Marine Expert in the Romanian National Maritime Court of Law in 1986, Constanta Harbor Master in 1986, ISM Code and Internal Management System Audits in 2004. All his STCW and Offshore required courses are also to date.

During his carrier he gained sound experience working with multinational companies and crews such as Philippine, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Nigeria, Burma, India, Greece, Romania, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Bulgaria, Belgium, Ghana, Cameroon, etc.

Apart of his native Romanian language, he is fluent in English, French and Greek.
